Three Things Before We Arrive
Clear The Way
Make sure we can physically reach your water heater and your main shutoff. Boxes stacked in front of the heater are the usual culprit.
Write Down What Bugs You
The tap that runs brown, the shower that lost pressure, the pipe that bangs at night. Small things you have stopped noticing are the useful ones.
Be There If You Can
The inspection is far more useful when we can show you what we are looking at and you can ask questions on the spot.
What We Keep Finding Around Here
A lot of Pierce County housing stock still runs on its original galvanized supply pipe. Galvanized has a working life of roughly fifty years, and a great deal of it is past that now. It corrodes from the inside out, so the first sign is rarely a leak. It is discolored water, pressure that has quietly dropped off, or a metallic taste nobody can quite place.
That is the whole reason we started offering these inspections.
What Happens On The Day
A licensed Bowers technician arrives in a marked truck, in uniform, inside the window we texted you.
He checks your water itself, your pressure, your supply lines, your water heater, your shutoffs and valves, and any drain lines and damp he can see. He shows you what he finds as he finds it, rather than disappearing into a basement and coming back with a verdict.
At the end you get a plain answer on three things: what is fine, what is worth watching, and what needs doing. In writing.

If We Find Something Bigger
Sometimes an inspection turns up a repipe, a failing heater or a sewer line on its way out. If that is your house we will say so plainly and show you exactly what we are looking at.
We handle plumbing, HVAC, electrical and remodeling in house, so whatever it turns out to be it stays with one company and one point of contact. Financing is available if it helps.
